Investment Advice

Interactive Brokers LLC (IBKR) is custodian for Wismar client accounts. Account ownership is created and remains with the client. Wismar is linked to the account as Investment Advisor at the request of the client and remains in that role at client’s discretion. 

IBKR was chosen for custodian for client accounts due to its international renown and low transaction costs. Wismar specializes in active portfolio management for a low annual fee.

Wismar advisors make no investment decisions for clients until the client has completed an Investment Questionnaire detailing their risk/reward characteristics. Other financial information is gathered from the client to 

ensure that the advisor “knows the client” and can act in their best interest.
